           The Cancer Series

In March 2008 I embarked on a journey for which I was totally                                                         unprepared.  I had been  diagnosed with an advanced uterine
cancer that has a low incidence of survival.

When I was able to work again, I began to paint my experience.                                                      These works record my emotions as I moved from diagnosis                                                          through surgery, chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

When exhibited, the final body of work will include writings from                                                                    my journal, on which much of the work is based.

The series is still in progress, as is the journey.
